After learning that my high school stint at McDonald’s wouldn’t get me a job at a mag, I worked as a freelance journalist for a few years. With much haggling and many annoying phone calls, I got a job at Cosmo! As web ed, no two days are the same – some days I’ll be at a video or photo shoot, others I’m interviewing celebs or updating myself on the latest goss (all for research purposes, obviously).

Apart from that, I have a healthy addiction to cupcakes, clutches and Christian Bale. I once watched a VH1 countdown of ‘The 50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs Ever’ and was proud to announce that I loved every last one of them. I’m very good at tripping over, talking too loud and saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Oh … and in an acrostic poem that my friends wrote about me, the “e” in my name stood for “embarrassing.”

The official Cosmo office poll results are in: 90210 is awefulsome.*

The most anticipated show in a gazillion years premiered in Australia last night, and almost everyone in the Cosmo office plonked down to watch the newest kids at West Beverly Hills High. Here's what we thought

Mads (art director)

"The girls are too skinny."

Tash (group sales director)

"Thumbs down. Gossip Girl does everything better - clothes, music, storylines."

Leigh (beauty editor)

"I love Silver - she was the only one with any style."

Leisa (deputy art director)

"Naomi only had one good outfit - was expecting much more from the styling! But overall, I can see it being quite addictive."

Bec (senior features writer)

"I missed the show because I went to a premiere screening of The Duchess. Now I face Lauren's eternal wrath."

Michelle (editorial coordinator/hates Dylan McKay)

"Ethan, you're hot. Lose the bad hairstyle and we can be friends, k?"

It was so good ! but definatly addictive. Dixon or Ethan ?? I'd be happy with either but who my gf fancied was the Ty boy...i dont see it though ! I definatly know what ill be doing next monday night at 8:30 lol 90210 or the OC ? 90210 for sure !!  Report thisReport this
