Bring on that skinny cino! New research shows that drinking skim milk could be the key to permanent weight maintenance.
A study at the University of Western Australia confirms that drinking a glass of skim milk with breakfast can help you feel full for longer. The researchers compared people who drank skim milk with those who drank fruit juice in the morning and found that the milk drinkers ate ten per cent less throughout the day. It's thought that the protein in milk helps you feel full.
"While it might not help you lose weight, it seems definitely to suppress the appetite enough to help you keep it off," said lead researcher Dr Emma Dove.
