It may surprise you, but Australians have been named the world's worst sinners, British researchers have found.
Focus magazine states that Australia ranks first for envy and third for lust and gluttony among the world's nations.
The magazine's editors measured the level of "sin" by using a points system to determine which evils a country committed the most. Sloth, for instance, was measured by how many sick days workers took.
Rounding out the seven sins were South Korea (lust), the US (gluttony), Mexico (greed), Iceland (sloth and pride) and South Africa (wrath).
