If you want to start promoting weight loss drinks, teeth whitening kits and whatever other crap you can think of on your Instagram, you need to bin your black eyeliner.
Yep, I know its difficult but if you want fame and recognition you better be prepared to replace your normal straight lines with bubbles, ribbons, knives, or even actual penises.
But of course with all trends, they have to move on with the times and the latest trend in eyeliner is of course Beauty and the Beast.
Because the entire world has gone Beauty and the Beast mad.
Inspired by the rose that gives the Beast a daily reminder of just how single he really is, this latest trend is nothing short of intricate.
But how hard is this look to replicate? In my quest for internet fame (hey, I could do with a few extra dollars) I decided to have a go at recreating the look myself...I mean how hard could it actually be?
Draw your rose in lip liner because who has a red or pink eyeliner just lying around?
Outline your pink blob with a black eyeliner to define the petals/create a new trend for 'brain eyeliner'.
Using a green eyeliner draw some leaves around your roses. Nb why do Instagram makeup artists have so much more eyelid space than me? Damn you to hell hooded eye.
Outline and add extra detail with black liquid liner, et voila.
I think we can all agree my finished look, looks exactly the same, if not better than the original...
Because I clearly have missed my calling in life, I decided to take the look one step further and use my own artistic licence to create an eyeliner look based on the most beloved of all Beauty and the Beast characters, Mrs Potts.
If I can draw such a beautiful, not to mention intricate rose, surely Mrs Potts will be a piece of actual piss.
No, that is not an elephant with a flannel on its head, that is genuinely my interpretation of Chip's mother.
So it turns out this whole themed eyeliner thing is a lot harder than it looks, I think I'll stick to my regular black flicks and leave the Beauty and the Beast looks to the professionals.
