After Covergirl announced that social media star and makeup artist James Charles would be the first male face of the beauty brand, we knew it was only the beginning. Now, following hot on their heels, Maybelline have debuted their first ever male ambassador and when you see how perf his makeup is, you'll understand why.

Introducing Manny Gutierrez: one of the most popular so-called "beauty boys" of the vloggosphere who gives Kylie Jenner a serious run for her money in the beauty stakes. Boasting three million followers on Instagram and a collective 91 million views to his YouTube channel, his makeup tutorials are actually incred.

Now, he's made it to the big time as he stars in Maybelline's new "That Boss Life" campaign promoting Big Shot Mascara alongside fellow Insta-famous beauty blogger Shayla Mitchell.

Seriously, the boy knows how to smize.

It's safe to say he's pretty excited about the move too, taking to Instagram to announce the collaboration. “2017 you are off to an AMAZING START OMG! So excited to finally announce that I am part of the @maybelline #bigshotmascara campaign! Honestly I couldn’t be more honored thrilled! Thank you to Maybelline for taking a chance on me! I look forward to working together so much more 😍😍😍."

Gutierrez isn't a newbie to the beauty game either. Speaking to Marie Claire, he recalled how his love of all things makeup harks all the way back to his childhood.

"I wanted to play with eyeliner and makeup while other boys were playing with G.I. Joes. So it was kind of tough for me because I didn’t really understand why I wanted to play with the 'girl' things rather than the 'boy' things," he said.

After being pressured into studying medicine at college, he realised that his passions lied far away from the hospital.

"I was in pre-med, which was such a different route for me," he said at VidCon 2016, as People reports. "I was so interested in makeup but I got such pressure to follow what my family and friends wanted me to do." His advice? "I would say just continue to follow your dreams, that's my biggest thing."

Let's celebrate some of his best looks so far, shall we?

Actual goals.
