Winter Woes

Skin Smart

We love winter - guilt-free hot chocolate (topped with marshmallows), sophisticated trenches and boots, the chance to pretend we're European by indulging in mini-breaks to snow-topped mountains and those nightly glasses of red. But from May to August, your skin can suffer. Arm yourself with these handy products to protect your precious skin from chapping, chafing and dehydration.

I love winter, but absolutely hate what it does to my lips. They always look horrile and dry, so I will be making sure I give the origins lip balm a whirl! I want kissable lips in winter!   Report thisReport this

Try Sally Hansen 18 hour lip treatment, it's really moisturising and lasts on the lips forever, so you're not constantly licking your lips, making them even drier. I know because I suffer the same problem!  Report thisReport this

Honestly if you suffer dry lips, the only product is Shizen, there lip balms and treatments dont contain vaseline or any mineral oils so they actually leave your lips soft and moist all the time - dont know how I ever lived without it.  Report thisReport this

I have looked all over David Jones for the Agatha Ruiz de la Prada lipbalm. Asked three people and no one heard of it... Where else can I find them (I used to buy them at the airport, but am not flying for a while now)? Thank you!  Report thisReport this

I belive the best winter lip fixer would have to be Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment it is not only a lip saver because it goes on clear, but also handy for your hand bag for those unexpected bobo's that goes with our hectic lifestyle.  Report thisReport this
