Body of an Angel
Miranda Kerr's health tips
When Miranda Kerr appeared on Rove Live a few weeks back, the buzz in the office the following day was palpable. 'Did you see Miranda last night?' (We're on first-name basis, you see). 'She's unbelievable.' A chorus of jealous sighs ensued and that pretty much sums up how we feel about Ms. Kerr, to be perfectly frank.
We decided then, that it's probably a good idea to take a look at the Victoria's Secret Angel's diet. We're not guaranteeing that you'll steal her abs by copying Miranda's food diary...but it's a good way to start!
Breakfast: Every morning, Miranda drinks water with lemon and vinegar to detox her system. For breakfast, she'll have green tea, fresh fruit salad with yoghurt and muesli or two pieces of rye toast with avocado and boiled eggs.
Lunch: Miranda stocks up on protein at lunchtime. Fresh tuna salad with spelt crispbread, plus more water and dandelion tea keep her going even on long shoots.
Dinner: Miranda steers clear of potatoes, but says that she indulges in roasted vegetables like sweet potato, pumpkin and greens with her dinner. Usually, she'll have some protein - salmon, fish, lamb chops or steak - with salad or roasted vegetables.
Workin' it: You don't get a body like Miranda's by sitting at home watching The Hills and eating Dorito's. A self-confessed 'health nut', she runs, boxes and does strength training with a personal trainer. She also practises yoga daily.
Indulgences: You won't catch her chowing down on fries, but Miranda does confess to a sneaky passion for dark chocolate Lindt balls. Oh, and a boy named Orlando...
