Bridesmaids’ dresses “The girls’ mid-length, soft grey dresses featured intricate hand-beaded patterns.”

Invitations “To reflect our love of travel, I printed the details onto old-style maps of London, Paris and New York – all cities we’ve visited.”

Flowers “Our bouquets were filled with green kangaroo paw, white waratahs and green leucadendrons.”

The ceremony “I walked down the aisle to Little Wing by Jimmy Hendrix, my sister-in-law conducted the service and we exchanged vows we’d written.”

Decorations “The reception space had tall windows looking onto a garden – the venue team organised uplighting on the trees, which created a dramatic visual effect.”

Entertainment “Jay and I danced to Chuck Berry’s You Never Can Tell.”

Cake “We had brownies, pavlovas Portuguese tarts, friands and cannoli.”

Favours “Guests were welcome to take home our floral centrepieces.”
