Right now! It seems spring is the season of love, if recent research by Million Dollar Woman is anything to go by.

The findings show October is the biggest month for weddings, closely followed by November. Not surprisingly, the cold winter months of June and July are the least likely months for couples to say “I do”. Their research also shows that couples are willing to fork out a decent sum for their day. “Australians spend $4.3 billion a year on weddings, with the average event costing $36,200 – equivalent to the deposit on some first homes,” says Million Dollar Woman’s CEO Lynette Argent.
Do you think it’s too much to spend the equivalent of a house deposit on your wedding? Or would you be happy to spend above and beyond for the big day of your dreams?
