The perfect canvas
"Start with a great foundation that looks both natural and
flawless. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how great your
eyes and lips look if your skin isn't radiant and glowing," says
Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics make-up artist Philip Luque. Try

Do your research
"No-one has a completely symmetrical face and most models
have their good and bad sides," says bridal stylist Sally Dixon.
"Work out which is your best profile by getting a friend to take
pictures from both angles and ask your photographer to try to
capture that side whenever possible on the day."
Try to relax
"Make sure you feel comfortable and at ease in your dress
as any awkwardness will be magnified on film," says Dixon. "Above
all, try to imagine the camera's not there. Stolen moments always
look more natural than rehearsed poses."
Watch your posture
"Brides are often very self-conscious of their arms," says
fashion photographer Julie Adams. "Try not to press your arms
against your body, especially when holding the bouquet. Leaving
room between your arms and your body creates a slimming
effect."
Stand tall, smile & enjoy
"Standing up straight does great things to your whole
shape," says Adams. Also, make sure you have breaks in between
photos so your smile doesn't become stark. "And most of all - enjoy
yourself. Nothing makes a woman glow more than being
happy!"
