Theme "Based around my dress, we used the green and blue colour palette throughout."
Dress "A full-length, column style with a fitted bodice and fabric belt to give it a '50s look. It was made from ivory dupion-silk, hand-painted with blue and olive blooms."
Dress cost "$870."
Hair "It was pinned up in a large chignon."
Headdress "I wore a velvet ribbon headband and a floor-length veil pinned underneath my hair with a silk flower."
Bridesmaids' dresses "Custom-made in Vietnam, they were chiffon with empire waists and capped sleeves, in indigo or blue."
Flowers "The bridesmaids and I carried white ranunculus, hellebores and succulents, and my daughters carried baby's breath."
The ceremony "On Friday we had a Vietnamese ceremony with 30 close family and friends at our home, which involved lots of gift giving, burning of incense, blessing our ancestors and a tea ceremony. On Sunday we had a civil ceremony with a larger crowd."
Decorations "Fairy lights and lanterns were hung to illuminate the hall."
Cake "Mum made a wonderful array of cakes for our Sunday reception."
