How can I get rid of ingrown hairs and prevent them from coming back?
“Try not to pick at the affected area and only exfoliate once the hair growth starts to come through,” says Clow. Ina also suggests exfoliating your body with a loofah and an antibacterial body wash.

How long should I wait between waxes?
“Usually between four to six weeks, depending on hair growth,” Clow says. “A lot of people prefer to get waxed every two to three weeks, but as there isn’t enough growth, it won’t be a clean wax.” Keep in mind that for some people, waxing becomes more painful after the four-week mark – as the hair grows, it receives blood through the root; the longer the hair has this supply, the stronger it gets, so it becomes more painful the longer you leave it."

How do I stop my skin going patchy as the spray tan begins to wear off?
“Try to get in for a professional exfoliation prior to the tan,” suggests Clow. “That way, you will become aware of the pressure that is required to remove the old tan properly, and also which areas should be targeted, for example, the backs of knees, the underarms, the ankles and the back. When your tan starts to look patchy, begin exfoliation.”

Can I use the fake tan I have at home on my face as well as my body?
“Absolutely, as long as you don’t use it too regularly. If you’re using it once every couple of months, this shouldn’t be a problem, however, more often than this and the ingredients will probably give you a lot more blackheads. If you want something you can use every week, I would suggest you invest in a tanning product designed specifically for the face.”
