Celebs don't typically talk about their post-birth body struggles – it's not a particularly ~glam~ topic. But Blake Lively is getting real about the process of coming to accept her body's changes after giving birth to her second child with Ryan Reynolds.
During Monday night's L'Oreal Paris "Galentine's Day" event, the actress – who attended with her older sister Robyn – spoke with E! News about how pregnancy has impacted both her body and her self-image, along with how she's getting back into shape.
"It's all a process. You know, after the second kid, it's really different. So this is not my normal body, but I like it," she said. "I'm learning to love my body in every iteration, and I think that's hard for women, and so I learned a lot."
Blake, who's been open in the past about her breastfeeding woes, gave birth to her daughter Ines four months ago and has been working hard to get back into shape ever since. "You see your body after having a kid, and it's beautiful because you just gave birth but you also say, 'oh my god, this is not what my body looked like,'" she told Kylie and Jackie O last year. "You feel like you're never going to get your body back again. But you can! But that was what was encouraging about it!"
Blake looked absolutely fi-yah when she hit New York Fashion Week this week – it’s literally impossible for the woman to not look good.
