Like a glass slipper to Cinderella’s foot, if there ever were an actor to be a perfect fit in the role of a Disney Princess, it would be the annoyingly-flawless Blake Lively.
But when the 29-year-old blonde bombshell graced the cover of ‘Variety’s Power of Women New York’ issue and asked what her dream Disney role would be, however, we were a tad surprised by her answer.
“Minnie Mouse!” Lively revealed, adding, “I’d be a terrible Minnie Mouse.”
I mean, we definitely see her as more as an Aurora, Rapunzel, or even Ariel after seeing how fab she looks rocking red hair, but somehow, we can still see her pulling off the whole polka-dot bow-and-dress combo.
It’s not the first time the Hollywood hottie has been labelled an IRL Disney princess, with her bright and flowy outfit choices at last year’s Cannes Film Festivals sparking a number of eerily-accurate comparisons to the iconic characters.
In true humble Blake style, the 'Gossip Girl' alum hit back with a cheeky comparison of her own, posting a snap of herself alongside a pic of ‘The Little Mermaid’ villain Ursul on Insta.
“Everyone thinks I was inspired by the princesses. If they only knew...”
Oh Blake, never change.
