It is common for actors and actresses to want to show off more talent (or lack of) by beginning a music career. Here we put together a few celebs who have showcased their vocals by releasing albums, some more succesful than others.

Jared Leto is the lead singer and guitarist for the group 30 Seconds to Mars, however is considered to be a much better actor than he is a singer with roles in Fight Club, Panic Room, and most recently, Chapter 27. We think he was cuter back then too. -
Paris is best known for being an heiress to the Hilton fortune and a socialite, but naturally, she wanted to start a singing career to show everyone what she can do. She produced her album, Paris, for which she created her own music label, Heiress Records, to release. Two singles from the album were released, "Stars are Blind" and "Turn it Up". Unfortunately her music is not hot! -
Milla Jovovich is a stunning beauty who has worked as a model, and actress and released an album titled The Divine Comedy which has been described as acoustic and folky, inspired by Kate Bush and Sarah McLachlan, back in the nineties. -

In 2005 he released a new album called Lost and Found with the hit single "Switch." -
Actress, Scarlett Johannson is best known for her roles in The Horse Whisperer, Lost in Translation, The Girl With the Pearl Earring, The Nanny Diaries and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. In 2008 she released her first and only album Anywhere I Lay My Head which was met with mixed reviews. -
Joaquin infamously announced he was quitting acting back in 2007 to focus on his music career as a rapper. Although he has been described as a "Beatles, Oasis, Bowie-style songwriter," yet audiences are yet to hear what Joaquin has produced as his album still has not been released. -
We all know him as Vinnie Chase in Entourage but Adrian Grenier has more than just acting talent. He is also a musician and belongs to two bands, as the lead singer in Kid Friendly and as the drummer in The Honey Brothers, and is apparently quite good! -

'The Hoff' has come a long way since Baywatch, or has he? He released a self-titled album with hits, "Looking for Freedom" and "Crazy for You," mostly popular in Europe. Keep trying Hoff. -
