Disney bans fake boobs
The official casting call stated they were seeking, "beautiful female fit models. Must be 5ft 7in-5ft 8in, size 4 or 6, no bigger or smaller. Age 18-25. Must have a lean dancer body. Must have real breasts. Do not submit if you have implants."
Talent scouts and judges are even subjecting the would-be pirates to jogging on the spot – and if there’s no movement from the waist up, you’re out.
Many have speculated this comes after the debacle of enhancing Keira Knightley’s chest for promotional posters. A former casting agent for the film said they were enhanced to give that "18th century, whorish look", but times have changed, and "the audience can spot false breasts".
Others are simply putting it down to Disney wanting it to be a "family friendly" film – as well as the fact that implants weren’t exactly around in the 18th century.
Whatever the reason, you can guarantee that Tara Reid won’t be making a cameo anytime soon.
