Their new life together was chronicled on MTV's reality series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, but their love was shortlived. After months of tabloid speculation, Jess filed for divorce in November of 2005 citing "irreconcilable differences.” -
LeAnn Rimes and Dean Sheremet - LeAnn was married to backup dancer Dean Sheremet at the tender age of 21 in 2002. The couple announced their separation in September, when an affair between Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian became headline fodder earlier this year. Citing "irreconcilable differences”, Sheremet filed divorce papers. The split will be official by June this year. -

Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley - The two punk rockers lasted three years, until a then 25-year-old Avril filed for divorce. They officially divorced on October 21, 2009, with Lavigne bagging their $9.5 million mansion all for herself. -
Kelis and Nas - The four-year marriage ended in 2005, with the “Milkshake” singer citing “irreconcilable differences” with her rapper husband. Kelis was 29 years-old and seven months pregnant at the time. -

Their very public and hostile divorce was finalised in December 2006, and Brian now dates Aussie golden girl Delta Goodrem. -
