Celebrity tour riders
If you could ask for ANYTHING you wanted, what would it be? Celebrities do this all the time...so it's interesting to see what they ask for when the world is literally their oyster. Here are the tour riders for some of our favourite (and not-so-favourite) celebs.

Hosting Mariah Carey's gig? She'd like the room to be furnished in "black, dark grey, cream or dark pink" as busy prints annoy the diva. Also, the room temperature should be 75 degrees Fahrenheit. -
Alicia Keys requests almond and soy milks, three menus from local Italian and seafood restaurants and a case each of imported and domestic beer. Not bad. -
On her 2000 tour rider, Christina Aguilera asked for a police escort to assist the band vehicle's arrival and departure, echinacea capsules, a roll of film, and organic fruits and vegetables. -
We love a star who's decidedly anti-diva. Case in point, Kelly Clarkson, whose rider is about the third of a size of her band's. -
The sweetest gal in showbiz, Taylor Swift, asks for Ben & Jerry's icecream, Starbucks grande caramel lattes and many, many cases of Smart Water when she tours. -
Amid the requests for Red Bull, Vitamin Water and water (both room temperature and cold), Gaga would also like a whole roast chicken, and a selection of "non-sweaty, non-smelly" cheeses. -
For Britney's 2000 world tour, her rider ran for five pages. The requests included a "dressing room with an apartment feel," an unlisted, outgoing-only phone, Pop Tarts, Fruit Loops and two boxes of Kentucky Fried Chicken. -
For her 2008 tour, RiRi asked for a "smartly dressed" driver, a room with three separate electrical circuits (WTF?), blueberry candles, 24 buffalo wings and bubble gum. She also warned, "We may ask for hard boiled eggs at any time throughout the day." -
Back when she was just plain old Ashlee Simpson, this too-big-for-her-boots singer requsted 72 bottles of water (strictly not Evian), two bags of ice ("preferably broken up") and "a jar of your finest grape jelly." -
Jennifer Lopez famously requests a "white room", including white flowers, white furniture, white tablecloths, white drapes, white candles and white couches. Phew. -
Yes, Kevin Federline has a rider, because yes, Kevin Federline is a musician. Remember??? He made a rap album. So there. K-Fed asked for aromatherapy candles, Grey Goose vodka, Jack Daniels and cold spring water. -
You'd expect Beyonce to have a diva-sized rider...and she does. She'd like hot food (including "juicy baked chicken...heavily seasoned!!") to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to her arrival "to ensure freshness." There should be two floral arrangements, four brand new white towels and rose scented candles, also. -
Unsurprisingly, Amy Winehouse's rider is full of requests for booze. She'd like "access to 40 towels," two bottles of red wine, one large bottle of vodka, chilled champagne and champagne flutes, one case of beer, 40 Marlboro Lights and for after the show, "three good-quality hot pizzas." -
And finally, the smallest rider of them all. Mandy Moore wants just "eight bottles of water, a fruit platter, nonfat yoghurt, good coffee, a veggie plate, one bottle of red wine and a 12 pack of Coronas."
