NEWS: The world farewells Whitney Houston
After news of Whitney Houston's sad passing at the age of 48, tributes have poured in from around the world.
Twitter was full of posts for the star - Simon Cowell wrote: "I
am so sad to hear about Whitney. We have lost one of the greatest
singers of all time." Meanwhile Mitch Winehouse reminisced about
the lost stars: "Amy, Etta, Whitney. Their music will NEVER die.
What a great girl group in heaven."
And away from cyberspace, Jennifer Hudson performed an emotional
performance of I Will Always Love You, finishing with
"Whitney, we will always love you."
Autopsy results have come in and, while nothing has been confirmed, there are rumours that prescription drugs were found near the her body.
The tragedy also continued when Whitney's 18-year-old daughter was also rushed to hospital after suffering a "complete breakdown".
RIP Whitney, you'll be missed but always remembered.
