UPDATE: Kristen Stewart's mum has denied talking about her daughter's love life.
Yesterday, we brought you the story that Jules Stewart had confirmed her daughter Kristen's relationship with Alicia Cargile.
But now Jules is now denying the whole conversation: “I spoke to Sharon Feinstein about my film K-11 that has been put on display in the Hollywood Museum,” she explained. "It’s currently there under the LGBT banner on the third floor. She also asked me about my views on gay rights, which I was happy to express. Then we talked briefly about the fundraiser I am hosting for TheWolfConnection.org." She told US Weekly.
"Never ever did we discuss Kristen!"she concluded.
Jules acknowledged that she did mention Kristen's personal assistant, Alicia Cargile, when asked whether she knew her.
“I said, ‘Yes, she’s a lovely girl,’” Jules explained.
A misunderstading you say but now the journalist who conducted the interview, Sharon Feinstein, has stated the comments were made, and is even considering uploading the recordings of the interview on twitter...
We were fist pumping all over the place when we read the kickass comments Jules 'supposedly' made, TBF.
Kristen Stewart has been keeping her personal life very personal since her public (and super messy) split with Robert Pattinson a few years ago.
Fast forward two years and R-Pattz is engaged to FKA Twigs, and it seems KStew has finally found love with her personal assistant, Alicia Cargile. Although the two have been spending quite a bit of time together over the past couple of months, we weren’t quite sure whether they were official.
But thanks to Kristen’s oh-so-cool mum, Jules-Mann Stewart, we now have a confirmation that the two are an item.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, Jules not only confirmed her daughter’s relationship, but also said she is doesn’t care who her daughter dates as long as she is happy.
“What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy.”
“She’s my daughter, I’m just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices”, Jules added.
Oh, and her answer gets even better…
“I feel like people need to be free to love whoever they want”, Jules explained. “I accept my daughter loves women and men. It’s OK to be who you are in my world. We all choose our friends so we should be free to choose our lovers."
Unlike Kristen who is tight lipped about almost everything, there were no off-limit topics for Mama Stew. Yep, she even went into the Robert-Pattinson-Territory…
“I’m very sad that Kristen and Robert didn’t have a chance to be alone together, they had to have the whole world with them and all the public stuff ruined everything, life became overwhelming.”
Oh mums... gotta love 'em.
Either way, we’re totally happy for Kristen!
