Taylor Swift shares BTS video from 'Look What You Made Me Do' and it's... confusing

It involves a significant amount of Taylor doppelgänger action.

Unless you've been living under a rock for roughly the past month, we're pretty sure you would've seen the video for Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' from her venge-filled upcoming album, Reputation. And just a few hours ago, Taylor released a behind the scenes snippet of THAT 'Taylor Mountain' scene from the video, where all of her ex-personas are seen angrily trying to climb to the top where the current Taylor is standing.

It's... pretty hilarious.

The video, involving all of the Taylor-duplicate extras that play her different personas, shows Taylor chatting with them in probably the most personal interaction we've seen her in for what feels like eons.

"We're having a great time. We're just chatting about life. That's gotta look weird", Swift said about what it was like chilling with her lookalikes.

She wasn't wrong in saying it looked a little odd — I mean, it doesn't get much more trippy than this.

Yep. TAYLOR OVERLOAD.

The video also shows 'You Belong With Me'-era Taylor being a total goose on set (which smacked us with some intense nostalgia)...

...As well as Fearless-era Taylor going at it in an extremely aggro tug-of-war with a Circus Taylor extra over a guitar. Gnarly.

As much as Taylor is insistent that her old self is 'dead' and that her new persona is a 200% baddie and out for the kill, it becomes pretty apparent that the nice, friendly, relatable Taylor is still very much alive — in fact, maybe in more full force than ever. We were kind of expecting Taylor to refuse to talk to the extras and barely dish on anything related to her former, pre-1989 self, which makes this all the more confusing.

All will be revealed when Reputation drops on November 10.
