Chemical attraction

Too much?
Acoording to a new British study, women "host" up to 515 different chemicals on their bodies every day.

The survey, conducted by deodorant manufacturer Bionsen, indicated that most of the pollutants are from deodorant, perfume, moisturiser, and lipstick.

Over 70 per cent of women polled admitted they weren't concerned about the number of chemicals on their skin. Only one in ten regularly chose chemical-free beauty products.

    'Chemical - Free' Beauty products has been poorly used time and time again in that, There is no worldwide institution to research and regulate sufficiently on the chemical actions of ALL beauty products. There is not enough researched information from medical institutions to answer the cause of a reaction from these beauty concoctions. ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS complain of the cruelty of testing - this group need a real solution to this problem to be taken seriously. What about pests?

    I have been using chemical free makeup and shampoo since 1999. Chemicals cause cancer so avoid them all. Read the labels and make your choice wisely. If anything has a warning label on it, it's bad for you. This goes for all shampoos and conditioners as well. I buy chemical free products from the health shop and never buy any makeup or shampoos or deodorants from the supermarket.

    everything is made up of chemicals, natural or not. whats more, just because somethings natural doesnt mean its good for you or gentle. i've had just as many skin irritations from harsh natural products as man made products.

    Of course everything contains chemicals. Chemicals are the make up of ALL THINGS. Any decent course in chemistry will tell you this. It doesn't matter if a product is natural or not, it still contains chemicals. Chemicals do in fact live in nature. And not all chemicals are bad for you.
