Feature Writer
When Yeong’s lifelong dream of being a vet was crushed by her utter hopelessness at chemistry and physics, she turned to journalism instead. Two years into a media and communications degree, she got itchy feet and took a year off to travel and work in London. After mastering the art of pouring beer she returned to her hometown of Wollongong to finish her degree, then spent the next four years making random career moves and doing a Masters to make up for it. She finally landed a gig at SHOP Til You Drop, spending 18 months writing, subbing (and spending), before migrating to Cosmo-land to write about boys, sex and other amusing things. She adores summer, live music and reading, and has a serious addiction to sugar. She’d also like to be more worldly, but tends to spend more time dreaming than making actual travel plans.
