As we rug up and prepare for the chilly season, our friends on the top end of the earth are enjoying the growing warmth as they edge into summer. Here, Liu Wen, Spokes model for Estee Lauder, discusses her views on the pretty spring season and the new collection from Estee Lauder.

This campaign was shot at a private home in Los
Angeles.
What are you wearing?
In this ad, I am wearing a Diane Von Furstenberg
Tunic.
What was it like working with Aerin Lauder on this ad
shoot?
Aerin is a beautiful, intelligent, and most of all, very
thoughtful woman. To be able to collaborate and work alongside her
is a wonderful experience!
How does spring in New York City differ from spring in
Beijing?
Beijing's spring arrives very quickly. The trees
seemingly grow new leaves overnight and I'm always surprised
because you don't really notice any buds on the branches
beforehand! New York's spring can lack the spirit of "home," but
it's a wonderful, pleasant climate. But all in all, a New York
"Spring" always comes very early for me, because I'm always walking
the Spring season of fashion shows the previous September!
What are your must-have fashion items for the spring
season?
A thin, small leather jacket, a colorful scarf, and a
fashionable pair of sunglasses.
Who are your favorite designers this season?
I'm really loving Balenciaga, Alexander Wang, and
Hermes.
What are your favorite daytime and evening beauty looks
for spring?
I think the spring look can be more dramatic in the day
time, because after a long winter everything seems refreshing and
new, so bursts of color would be very appropriate! As for evening,
just something natural to go along with the pleasant climate.
What products can you not live without this
season?

The spring season is a time of renewal. Is there
anything different you do to herald in the new season?
I always try out a new exercise regime, especially in
terms of what I can do outdoors (because you can actually go
outside now!). When you can breathe fresh air and smell the
blooming flowers as you exercise, everything just feels more
soothing.
Where is your favorite place to be in spring?
The countryside, where there are more plants and other
elements of nature. If in China, I always love going to Hangzhou in
the Spring.
You have been traveling so much recently for fashion
shows. Can you please share your travel tips?
These days I will always use my Resilience Lift Extreme
