Hair dye
Anonymous
I've got thin hair and I went to a hairdresser and got my hair coloured and tipped. I wanted a shampoo and conditioner that would give my hair volume and I bought the matrix in the blue bottle and I have to say it was a rip off. I spent $70 on it and it didn't even work. So I went down to priceline and purcahsed the garnier fructis volume shampoo and conditioner and that worked really well.

Hey Girlies!! Im a hairdresser by trade and I'll tell ya choosing the right shampoo and conditioner all depends on your hair type. Is your hair going to be dyed blonde??If so get a blonding shampoo/conditioner.It contains extra moisture and colour molecules that will help maintain that fresh blonde look. Are you a red head? If so get a red colour lock shampoo. PPS is a range I swear by, and the prices are heaps good!remember buy from hair suppliers not retail stores they charge you much more!

I tend to make sure I use a good quality (eg hairdresser brand) shampoo on my coloured hair, but I get it from one of those stores that sell the products, not a hairdresser. Kerastase is really nice, but matrix is also good and a bit cheaper. Also get a colour depositing shampoo to use once a week to refresh and prolong the colour. Use whatever conditioner you like, as long as it isn't cleansing or anti-dandruff. Dye tends to make her drier, so maybe go moisturising.

At the moment i am using the body shop shop product-it was a little expensive but it has lasted me for about 5-6 months now - i just went to get my hair dyed too and they talked me into getting their salon brand product -my sister is training to be a hairdresser as well and says that product sold in a salon are more reliable and are more healthier for you hair

For the first time i'm letting my hairdresser die my hair.
My problem is what shampoo and conditioner do i get... I dont want to get one that will just strip the colour out of it but i dont want one that is going to cost a stupid amount.
Thanks girls.
