Men find curves addictive

A new study has found that a woman’s curves affects mens brains the same way drinking or drugs might.

Typically, shapely hips in women are linked to fertility and overall health, and it seems as though men find hourglass figures the sexiest of them all.

Brain scans of the 14 men who participated in the recent study revealed that seeing images of naked women with curvier behinds activated parts of the brain linked with reward- including regions associated with responses to drugs and alcohol.

While it may not come as a surprise that men are wired to find a woman’s naked body rewarding, Steven Platek insists there is more to it than Playboy mags and porn.

Platek, who is a researcher and neuroscientist at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Georgia, says, “These findings could help further our understanding pornography addiction and related disorders, and could also lend to the scientific inquiry about sexual infidelity."
