Have you named your car? Yup, you're not the only one...

In a recent poll conducted by www.autochic.com.au and www.myplates.com.au, it was revealed that over 56% of females have given their carriage a cute nickname.

AutoChic director Juliet Potter said: "Women definitely nickname their cars more than men do, especially first-time car buyers. From 'The Beast' to ‘Bertie’, or really feminine names such as 'Priscilla', women naming their cars is yet another indication that the girls do in fact love their cars just as much as the blokes!"

And what are the most popular motor-monikers? Ella, Ruby and Lola.
