Smoke signal
Thirdhand smoke, the residue left behind after a cigarette is put out, is often found in clothes, cars and rooms.
Researchers at the Laurence Berkeley Laboratory have found that there's a definite health risk associated with thirdhand smok, and add that when the residue is combined with nitrous acid - a common pollutant created by cars and gas appliances - new carcinogens are created, making it even more harmful. The bottom line? Stop smoking, and stay away from those who do.
