The Five Bite Diet

When it comes to diets, we always think we’ve seen and heard it all. All the fads, all the outrageous lengths people travel to drop the kay gees. The Grapefruit Diet, The Soup Diet etc etc. But alas, there's a new one gaining momentum and its name (drumroll please)… The Five Bite Diet, plugged in the new book Why Weight Around.

Founder of the diet, Dr. Alwin C. Lewis explains his plan and the way it works:

-    Drink as much of anything as you want as long as it doesn't contain calories (so, um, water).
-    Take five bites of any food at lunch.
-    Take five bites of anything at dinner.
-    Take one multi-vitamin every day.
-    Get "a bit" of protein a day.

Dietblog reports that “Lewis says that after three days on this diet you will no longer feel hungry. Once you have reached your weight you can go back to ‘eating normally.’ Do not be fooled this is not a good way to manage weight and get healthy.”
