Female attractiveness relates to waist size

Forget slapping on the makeup and styling your hair, because apparently a woman's attractiveness only relates to her body proportions. Here's why...

It's not good news, ladies. Apparently, how hot we are depends on our waist measurements compared to our hip measurements.

New Zealand-based anthropologist Barnaby Dixson, who is responsible for this diet-inducing news, presented various digitally-enhanced pictures of a woman with different waist, hips and bust ratios to a group of male volunteers, who were then asked to rate the images for attractiveness.

The measurements considered most appealing to men were a 0.7 waist-to-hip ratio, exhibited by stars such as Jessica Alba and Kate Moss.

The doc said: "It is likely that perfect 0.7 ratio sends a biological signal to men that that woman is most fertile and most likely to produce a healthy offspring, no matter what size that woman is." Where's the tape measure?
