Clean hair makes you mean
New research has shown that when people are well groomed, they can be more judgemental and bitchy towards others.
The study, published in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, found that most humans tend to relate physical hygiene to moral cleanliness, so will become meaner if they have dirt-free hands, hair, clothes and breath.
The researchers said that feeling fresh gave volunteers "an inflated sense of moral virtuosity compared with their peers".
So forget scrubbing yourself until you sparkle and hit the office tomorrow in your best PJs-and-bedhead combo!
