Heavier drinkers live longer

We're celebating (with a glass of champagne), because there is now scientific proof that moderate drinkers live longer than people who never touch booze at all...

A new study carried out at the University of Texas followed 1,824 participants over a period of 20 years.

During this time, 69% of the non-drinkers taking part in the research died, 60% of the heavy drinkers passed away but only 41% of the moderate drinkers died.

Just so you know ladies, 'moderate' drinking is defined at one to three drinks per day. Cheers!
