When you're basically living off caffeine, it's kiiiiinda stressful to find out that missing just two hours of sleep quadruples your risk of an accident.
Yeah. This is really not good, guys.
A study from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety found that people who have five to six hours of sleep a night double their chances of having an accident, and that those who sleep four to five hours QUADRUPLE their chances, which is the same risk associated with drunk driving.
For adults (anyone above 18), the National Sleep Foundation recommends 7-9 hours of sleep per night.
And now we know that getting any less than that not only makes us irritable AF, but it's also super dangerous.
Seriously, it's time for a week long nap.
