How can you save on groaceries?
Niquegal
I have finally found a way to save on groaceries!
Get meals that last for 2 nights
Now I mainly make pasta meals, have soups, pies and pasties, steamed dim sims and egg meals for dinner, toast for brekki, sandwhiches for lunch!
Ive cut a lot of things out of the groacery list but Ive saved heaps! I know that it may not be the healthiest alternative, but if funds are tight funds then theres not much you can do.
I went from spending like $100 a week to spending like $50 max a week

We just got an Aldi supermarket here, and it is SO much cheaper than Woolworths and Coles. So if there's one in your area, definitely give it a go. Also, I work at Woolworths, and at stores with in-store bakeries they mark down the bread at night to like a dollar a loaf, and hot chickens can end up being like $3 at closing time too.. There are actually a lot of reduced to clear items for sale, especially in the produce and cold foods departments, if you look closely. Hope that helps :)

With things constantly going up in price Im finding it harder and harder to save money in groaceries, the other day it costed me and my partner $140 for the groaceries and we bought very little and stuck to the essentials.
We have been living away from our parents for 6 months now and it seems that after rent we have very little to last us a fortnight.
Any tips? to save?
