Gossip leads the way

With 14 nominations, we figured it was time to get to know the show everyone's talking about

Gossip Girl is leading the pack in the lead-up to the Teen Choice Awards this August, with a staggering 14 nominations.

The insanely popular US series, set in Manhattan's affluent Upper East Side, is up for awards including Choice TV Show (Drama) and Choice Breakout Show. Its stars are also nominated for awards - Blake Lively and Leighton Meester will duke it out for Choice TV Actress (Drama), while Blake is also up for Choice Female Hottie, and Breakout TV Star. Their male co-stars, Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley, also received nods as Choice TV Actors (Drama), and Chace will vie for Breakout TV Star and Choice Male Hottie.

But for those of you who haven't set eyes on these ridiculously good-looking and impossibly rich teens (the series is yet to air on free-to-air television in Australia) here's the Cosmo beginner's guide to Gossip Girl.

The show goes a different way from the books but it makes a good story in it's own respect. Gorgeous clothes, gorgeous people, gorgeous locations..... ohhhh I'm jealous! The books are good but the show is sinful in it's own right. :o)  Report thisReport this
