How do you know you’ve made the right choice? Are you meant to be with the one you’re with, or was it supposed to be the the one you let go? Ellen is torn. She’s been married one hundred days (to the day) to the perfect man, Andy Graham, her best friend’s brother, but one rainy day in New York City, she runs into her ex-boyfriend Leo and finds old feelings she thought she'd extinguished begin to resurface. She’s torn between her loyalty to her husband and memories of the one she lost painfully so long ago. What's a girl to do?
Love The One You’re With, by Emily Giffin is a compelling novel that finds its way straight to your heart. It’s full of stomach-churning rollercoaster highs and lows in relationships and friendships, and explores the importance of family. Emily Giffin is an extremely talented storyteller who effortlessly plunges you into Ellen’s world, as she re-examines her marriage, herself and her life, and begins to realise what love and loving truly mean.
Love The One You’re With was a fantastic and entertaining book to read. It’s almost sad when you get to the last page and realise it’s all over, but that’s the sign of a cleverly woven story. I would definitely recommend this book; it’s spellbinding till the end.
