We’re not sure if this is creepy or cool.

For couples doing the whole long distance thing, it can be pretty tough to stay connected when you’re hundreds (or thousands) of kilometres away. Sure, you can text, call or even Skype but it’s not the same as seeing your partner IRL.

Well, the clever folks over at The Touch have come up with a clever solution to long distance woes. Introducing the HB ring: a new ring that lets you feel another person’s heartbeat IN REAL TIME.

Basically, all you have to do is put the ring on and then tap it to connect to your special someone’s pulse using Bluetooth via an app on your phone.

While they may not be the most stylish piece of jewellery, they are made from quality materials. The HB rings comprise of stainless steel or rose gold with a crystal sapphire surface. (Meaning they shouldn’t scratch.)

If this sounds like something you could get around, you can put you name down on the pre-order list here.

Okay, so we get that long distance relationships are hard. But these rings err on the creepy side, right? #Technology.
