No muss, no fuss!

Breaking up ain't hard to do

A new phone service called Slydial will transform the way we break up.

The service allows users to connect to another person's voicemail directly, thus avoiding actually talking to the person on the other end. Recipients will then receive notification of a voicemail message. They will also see the phone number of the caller, as sly dialers must have caller ID activated to prevent potential harassment.

But breaking up via a phone call is just one way to do it - we look at the celebs who called it quits in cruel and unusual ways.

Not that he's a current star, but everyone remembers Phil Collins..apparently he asked his wife for a divorce via fax.   Report thisReport this

matt damon did not break up with minnie driver on oprah. he stated on her show that they were no longer together but minnie driver already knew this for at least a week (some say even three). she twisted it to make herself look like the victim. matt damon is gorgeous and would never do something so cruel!   Report thisReport this

Entertainment Tonight (well, really this afternoon...)

Yes, it's true: Ryan Reynolds (aka Van Wilder aka the title character of the only good movie the poor guy ever made) has wed the intoxicatingly hot actress Scarlett Johansson, in a private ceremony in Vancouver, Canada. The couple had only been engaged for four months before their surprise sprint down the aisle. Do I believe that the two are so in love that they just couldn’t wait? No, I fear ScarJo may be up the duff. I mean, not so long ago Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz sped up the matrimonial process and then announced they were expecting. Watch this space. In other Hollywood news, Channel 10 announced yesterday that the new incarnation of 90210 will be axed from the network. I believe it will be shown in the non-ratings period (you know, along with episodes of Alf and that Hole In The Wall show). I can’t say I’m surprised - I was enjoying the cheesiness but it would be nice not to see Shannen Doherty on television ever again.
