Amid all the hoopla of World Youth Day, we can't argue that the Catholic Church has made us take time out to pause and reflect...with a little help from the Calendario Romano, or Roman Priest Calendar.

The calendar, released every year since 2006, features 12 Catholic priests (all fully clothed!). The priests hail from Vatican City and use the calendar to portray the Church in a more modern light. It comes as the Catholic Church faces a shortage of men entering the profession. Pundits also claim the calendar is intended to draw more American tourists to Rome. According to the calendar's website, it also aims to give basic tourist information on the Vatican, the world's smallest state.
