My fiance is in the military and regularly goes overseas. I find the best form of contact is Skype. Its easy to find an internet cafe and they will usually have this program. Its a chat program but you can also do video/voice calls. If your calling another computer video or voice it is free. If you're calling a phone its cheapish. While i was on a cruise i couldn't contact my b/f and the phone line was so so expensive -so we went olden day and wrote letters to each other and sent e-mails its not the same as hearing his voice but its really romantic and it doesn't cost anything 28.06.08 12.43p.m. reply to post »

It is really expensive to receive calls when your phone is on international roaming and he's probably watching his pennies at the moment so I wouldn't be upset about him not answering. Firstly, why aren't you over there with him? It doesn't sound like it's work related. Try sending him e-mails, or ask his parents / siblings / friends how they are communicating with him whilst he's gone. Ask them to tell him you're thinking of him. It is very difficult when travelling from country to country to have time to think about what's happening back home. Hey We'll my bf is overseas atm.. has been gone for 3 weeks. Anyway he has called me and weve been speaking viz sms too. But were he has been in spain he mustnt be able too receive messages as he has been able too msg me but my msgs arent going thru too him.
