Mathematics of marriage
Whip out your calculators, ladies. A new study from the Geneva School of Business has revealed that a happy and successful marriage all comes down to numbers.
According to researchers, a husband should be five years older than his wife, from the same type of background, and 27 percent less intelligent than his bride.
The study also revealed that those who have tied the knot are at their happiest 11 months and eight days after their wedding day, and feel the most comfortable with one another just before the three year mark.
If you think the best sex happens in the first few months after getting hitched, think again. Apparently a married couple’s best sex life happens after two years and four months.
More results showed that husbands helping with household chores reaches its peak at three years (although some women would be more than happy with just one!), and romantic holidays drop off after three years and four months.
More interestingly, couples who don’t cheat generally have around 25 minutes of one-on-one conversation per day.
