Do you need a 'sorbet' man?
Some people spend those weeks after a relationship split wallowing in self pity, drinking the contents of every bottle shop within a five kilometre radius and snottily sobbing on the shoulder of everyone they meet. But there's a small minority of girls who manage to keep a smile on their faces with the help of a 'sorbet' boyfriend. This step-in lover, dubbed a 'sorbet' man by UK newspaper the Daily Mail, gives recent singletons a refreshing new take on life, love (and sometimes sex).
Think about stars such as Kate Winslet (recently snapped with hot male model Louis Dowler after splitting from Sam Mendes), Cheryl Cole (holidayed with ripped dancer Derek Hough after her divorce from Ashley Cole) and Kim Kardashian (leapt from Reggie Bush-induced heartache to Miles Austin-induced smooching). Not everyone would recommend rebound relationships, but there's no denying that all these celebs have two things in common: 1) they have a 'sorbet' friend and 2) they have MASSIVE grins on their faces.
So stop weeping into your wines, dumpees... find yourself that refreshing new man!
