"Ugly" dating website launched
First, there was 'attractive people only' dating site www.beautifulpeople.com, which rejected people for being overweight or average-looking. Now, a website purely aimed at 'aesthetically-challenged' singletons has been launched.
Brit entrepreneur (and cyber-matchmaker) Howard James, who founded The Ugly Bug Ball, says: "We're scooping up these people and offering them a glimmer of hope, in many cases their first and only opportunity of meeting a member of the opposite sex."
The website jokes that "ugly people are a better calibre of human, ugly people have had a tougher life" and promotes "ugly" partners as being less likely to stray. Check it out girls at http://www.theuglybugball.co.uk.
