We all look for funny partners

A study has shown that most of us think a sense of humour is the best quality for a partner to have...

Researchers at Nerve conducted a survey with the help of 1,000 people to discover what people look for in romantic partners.

When the volunteers were asked which quality (in addition to chemistry) they thought was the most important when choosing a mate, 45% replied that they looked for a sense of humour.

Other popular answers included 'similar cultural background', 'appearance', 'educational level' and 'financial state'.

So it seems laughter actually IS the best medicine.
