Despite what Blake Lively and controversial dating bible The Rules has to say, new research suggests that sleeping with someone on the first date isn’t really that bad after all.

Many relationship experts have proclaimed the 1996 man-manual out of date and instead believe that casual sex can easily turn into something longer lasting.

A love study was recently conducted at the University of Iowa and shows that "a significant percentage of current relationships began with non-romantic sex." Anthony Paik, Ph.D., an Assistant Professor of Sociology agrees with the stats, saying: "People now view hooking up as a predictable, normal part of life and don't let it contaminate or poison the beginning of a relationship."

Another one of The Rules rules is 'Don't live with a man (or leave things in his apartment)' - and guess what? This just isn't the case for modern-day lovers. According to the US National Center of Health Statistics, playing house in your love shack doesn't necessarily signal the end, with millions of couples living to tell the tale.

What the fuck? U obviously end up with terrible women because u are a terrible guy. I personally love having sex with my bf who I also live with, cook for and clean for all because Iove him to bits. I also work and pay my share of all the bills. As well as buy him gifts whenever I have cash to spare. How dare u speak that way of women. U dont deserve to be slept with if thats the attitude u have.

PatRiarchie take a good look at yourself because you are completly wrong. alot of females want sex more then you do but given the fact that we are trying to setup a successful carrer, be a mother, be a house wife, and a great wife to you sometimes making love needs to be put aside slightly so that we can maintain a household that is what you want and everyone is clothed and feed. we are not trying to be manipulative or controlling but your not going to help us so stop your whinning and help us or deal with making us both suffer. get a clue about what women really are like and need.

PatRiarchie sorry that your opinion is so low. mjority of girls enjoy a satisfying sex life but sometimes this has to be put on hold because to maintain the household you want the toilet does need to be cleaned. incase you havent realised majority of women are setting themselves up for a long term career in the professional world as well s being an excellent mother, domestic housewife and wife with a satisfying sex life. these women also pay the bills and do the shopping because you are to slack to do the groceries, clean the house or buy new clothes or necessities for yourself or your family so yes sometimes making love is put on hold so that we can take care of everything while you just grumble about work, play xbox and complain that you dont get any love. help a girl out because we are not trying to be manipulative or controlling and we want sex as much as you but we have a lot more to take care of then you. let us relax and have chocolate once in a while and none of us are wanting to retire early and have the man pay for everything.

PatRiarchie you are completly wrong in your whole view on women. A lot of women love a satisfying sex life and it has nothing to do with manipulation or control. I feel sorry for you to have had so many bad experiences. just so you know majority of girls are setting themselves up to have a successful career, motherhood, domestic house wife, and marriage particularly one that has an amazing sex life. these girls also pay all the bills and do the shopping for slack men who cant do the shopping on their own. so yes we deserve to enjoy a small shop for ourseleves or chocolate everynow and then. we definately would not prefer to clean the toilet then make love with the man we love but if your not going to help us out every now and then well then we both have to suffer and miss a little loving to maintain a household you expect us to have for you. so take another look at yourself before throwing around comments that are false. this has nothing to do with domestic violence or controlling behaviour.

Anything to get a man to pay the bills. Once it was, don't lower the value of the vagina by having free sex. A female needs to learn how to manipulate men with sex so that she can perpetrate domestic violence and undertake controlling behaviour. Females couldn't care less about a satisfying sex life when the more important thing is to be able to retire early and have a man pay your bills. In fact, a female will do pretty well anything to not have sex. We know that females would rather eat chocolate, go shopping or clean the toilet than make love with the man they love.
