What makes men good dancers?
Boys and boogying don't always mix, but a new study
has tried to find out what it takes to make a man a great dancer.
Here's the lowdown...
The UK and Germany-based study filmed a group of men aged
18-35 dancing, imposed the images onto faceless and gender-neutral
characters (to avoid appearance-related bias), then
asked a group of women to rate the dance ability of the
characters.
The girls were apparently attracted by dance movements "involving
the neck and the trunk" and high-speed "right knee
movements".
So all our men have to do to be the next Patrick Swayze is dance
like a chicken... right?
