Who doesn't love the beginning of a relationship? Sate nights, gifts and a sex life to rival that of John Mayer's. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, and according to a study by La Trobe University, it's the lack of under-the-sheets loving that's getting us down.
Researchers at La Trobe surveyed around 3000 men and women in relationships about their satisfaction with their sex lives, with half unhappy about the amount of sex they were having. Women reported lower relationship satisfaction regardless of whether they were having less or more sex than they desired, whilst men were only affected when having less.
But are all men the sex fiends we make them out to be? Researchers also found that one in eight males aged 18 to 24 would like to have less sex. Next time, why not spend a night re-igniting the excitement that comes with simple kissing instead?
