Forget the four-date rule, a new survey has found twice as many Australian women are open to getting frisky on first dates, compared to their British counterparts. While 15 percent of Aussie ladies were willing to ask their date up for “coffee”, only eight percent of British gals were as obliging. It seems the reservations about first date sex are disappearing (at least in Australia) - and we say good riddance!
The survey by dating website OasisActive also found 34 percent of Australian men were willing (read: hoping) to be “asked up for coffee” on a first date. British men were more reserved with only 28 percent willing to get down and dirty on the first outing. The survey, sent out to members, had a staggering 12,000 respondents across the globe and provided some surprising insight into international dating relations.
Reinforcing the lascivious stereotype, in every nation, males were always faster to jump in the sack. Australian women beat a lot of “hot-blooded” countries like Mexico, Argentina and Columbia in the race to bed. But Argentinians must have an unspoken second-date rule as 43 percent of the female population and 49 percent of the men were willing to have sex at the next outing
