Cosmo Q&A

Should I let sleeping dogs lie?

Author, blogger, TV and radio presenter - whatever you want to call her, Samantha Brett is, above all, Australia's number one dating and relationships guru. If you have a question on men and sex for Samantha, submit it below. Fun, honest, helpful answers guaranteed!

Question:

I slept with my friend while my boyfriend was at work. I feel so bad and it's all I think about. What should I do?

Answer:

Cheating is one of the hardest things to deal with - for both you and the person you've cheated on! You obviously have an issue with your boyfriend that needs to be resolved, or you were trying to fill a void that he wasn't filling up, hence you went and found it somewhere else. Don't beat yourself up about it too much because it's in our inherent nature to want to stray, and sometimes we can't help but give in to temptation. If you are going to tell your boyfriend, be prepared for a backlash and the fact he might not want to continue the relationship. On the other hand, keeping it a secret might eat you up inside so make a careful decision before you do either.

What a city! What a hoot! Let me explain … I was in New York on official Cosmo business, a fact finding mission where I was privy to a whiff of two divine new fragrances that I’ll tell you all about in the mag very soon! Let me just say this – there’s one for him (the sexy 91X RocaWear) and one for you (the mischievous and delicious new scent, Juicy Couture!)… so just keep your Christmas list (and Christmas shopping list!) in pencil for a little while yet. When working for Cosmo, however, luckily business often meets pleasure and so I also had the opportunity to play tourist, eat at some amazing restaurants, absorb the electric atmosphere of the US Presidential Elections, make new friends, catch up with old friends and shop in Zara like a woman possessed. Here are some of the highlights:
