A new study has found that 36 per cent of people under the age of 35 tweet, text, or check Facebook right after sex.
The survey, released by Retrevo says it examined how much and how often we use sites like Twitter and Facebook. (Answer: a lot.) Buried beneath the data are some crucial and scary findings: of the 36 per cent who reach for their phone after climax, it was found far more males cop to it than females, and iPhone users get jiggy with it much more often than BlackBerry owners - three times as often in fact.
If you think about how incredibly often we log on to social networks these days, it's not that big of a surprise. After all, if 64 per cent of us admit to logging onto Facebook and Twitter at work, 40 per cent say they log on in the car and just as many do it on holidays, why not after sex?
